Dig Into Reading!

All shows will start at 10:30 a.m.
June 7th Come and join us for our kickoff party starring Chad Crews! Chad will take us on a magical safari with books that deal with critters found in the dirt! What about snakes, tarantulas and scorpions?
June 14th Our famous Frog Jumping contest! There will be two groups ages 1-7 & 8-12. The 1st place winner in each of the two groups will win $50.00. Be sure to bring your own frog.
June 21st Augusta Public Library will be performing an exciting show for us!
June 28th Ann Sprinkle with the awesome Jaemars Therapy Dogs!
July 5th Marsha Rider will show and talk about her many different breeds of domestic rabbits!
July 12th The Waynesboro City Police department will be here with their K-9 dogs!
July 19th Forest Ranger Jeff Billips! Come you will be excited about the wildlife he will bring with him!
July 26th Fun with the Waynesboro Fire Department!
Young Adult Programs for the Summer Reading Program
May 17th 4-5p.m. Step to the beat with Just Dance! Raise the roof dancing to the Wii!
May 31st 4-5p.m. Come and have fun making Friendship Bracelets!
June 10th 3-5p.m Movie time “College Road Trip”. From 3-5 p.m.
June 25th 2-5 P.M. Become a Karaoke rock star!
July 15TH 2-3:30 p.m. Part one of our series “The Library for College Bound Students”, by Kristin Eberhart. This will help students learn about all of the resources available in the library and also some valuable information on transitioning to college level research.
July 18th 2-3:30 p.m. Part two “To College or Not”, by Kristin Eberhart. This program will show what the difference between different degrees is and many other facts you need to know.
